Choose up to three wines to taste and discover aromatic power of Iris Pourpre de Desmirail (Haut-Médoc), delicacy with Initial de Desmirail (Margaux), elegance with Château Desmirail (3rd Grand Cru Classé Margaux) or lightness with La Perle de Desmirail (blanc de noirs) (while stocks last).

Wines for tasting (preselected vintages) :
Château Desmirail : Château Desmirail's first label, with an aromatic profile centred on black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry), wood (caramel, smoke, leather), spices (pepper) and a touch of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry). Complex and deep structure, complemented by mellow but still pleasant tannins. Good to drink now or in 5 years.
Initial de Desmirail : Margaux's second wine, refined with fruity aromas (cherry, raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant) typical of a young Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine (green pepper). Supple but interesting structure and tannins still to develop. Drink now for lovers of young wines, but leaving it to age will make it even more interesting.
Iris Pourpre de Desmirail : A wine from the Haut-Médoc plots of Château Desmirail, easy to drink and fruity (blackcurrant, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry) with a light woodiness (smoke, leather) to ‘season’ the whole. Light on the palate yet unforgettable, enjoy it today or in 7 years' time, you won't be disappointed.
